GENOME Is Now Part Of STOKE MX 2.0!
The complete GENOME functionality plus new Field sampling, General and Mesh-specific Loop operators are now part of the STOKE MX 2.0 package.
GENOME will be discontinued as an independent product and will only be available through a purchase of STOKE MX. All existing GENOME customers will receive STOKE MX 2.0 at no additional cost.
Please note that STOKE MX 2.0 only supports 3ds Max 2013 and higher. If you are using GENOME with an earlier version of 3ds Max, you should continue running your existing GENOME 1.0 build.
What Is GENOME?
GENOME is an extensible procedural geometry modifier for 3ds Max.
It operates on mesh data channels using the same Magma node-based channel editor originally introduced in Thinkbox Software's Krakatoa MX. GE.NO.M.E. = GEometry NOde Magma Editor.
GENOME is fast, flexible, artist-friendly, and tightly integrated with other Thinkbox tools. Its channel-editing workflows are more similar to those found in node-based image compositing applications, making it easy to learn for non-programmers.
GENOME provides highly optimized geometry and particle lookup operations not available in the 3ds Max SDK, allowing some modifiers to perform orders of magnitude faster than equivalent 3ds Max modifiers.
