XMesh™ is Thinkbox Software's production-proven Geometry Caching system.

XMesh™ is a set of tools for saving animated scene geometry to an external file sequence and for loading this data later for playback and rendering.

 

XMesh MX for Autodesk 3ds Max

XMesh™ MX is the 3ds Max implementation of the XMesh toolset.

It consists of a commercial Saver plugin (XMesh MX Saver) which exposes a MAXScript Interface for processing the scene and saving the XMesh files, and a FREE Loader plugin (XMesh MX Loader ) which performs the loading.

The XMesh MX Saver User Interface was implemented using MAXScript and can be used as reference / starting point for custom caching solutions.

XMesh MY for Autodesk Maya

XMesh™ MY is the Maya implementation of the XMesh toolset.

It consists of a commercial Saver plugin (XMesh MY Saver) which exposes a Python Interface for processing the scene and saving the XMesh files, and a FREE Loader plugin (XMesh MY Loader) which performs the loading.

The XMesh MY Saver User Interface was implemented using Python and can be used as reference / starting point for custom caching solutions.

XMesh NK for The Foundry NUKE

XMesh™ NK is the NUKE implementation of the FREE XMesh Loader.
